General Purpose Moderation Guide (WIP)
NOTE: This is very much a work in progress attempt to collate various disparate pieces of information of use to Redump moderators, with a view to having a more centralised set of guidance in future. It should not be considered fit for purpose for working on live data, and is not at this stage a replacement for any moderation guidance on the main Redump Wiki
Naming Conventions
Titles
Japanese
A draft set of rules for the handling of titles on Japanese discs is as follows.
- When no English / Latin title exists
- The modified hepburn method of romanization is used to create a standardized Main Title.
- Examples
- どこでもいっしょ → Doko Demo Issho
- 悪魔城ドラキュラ → Akumajou Dracula
