Hypothetically any drive with UHD-BD-ROM support should work for this. (Unconfirmed)

Redump does not currently have a system for datting UHD-BD Video discs. Eligible disc dumps would be datted as non-redump until the system is created. For dumping UHD-BD Video discs, you must use redumper and ensure BEE is disabled (either by using a drive that does not support BEE, or by opening and then closing MakeMKV before dumping with redumper).

'''Note''': Dumping UHD/BD-XL discs (e.g. PS5) using UHD friendly drives (e.g. ASUS BW-16D1HT), a 'sleep bug' can be encountered if the disc is idle in the drive for too long (e.g. if redumper is generating a skeleton, or if you leave it in the drive after dumping). It is safe to eject and re-insert the disc during redumper's skeleton/hash steps if the drive makes unusual noises while idle.

A list of optical disc drives compatible with dumping UHD-BD Video (aka Ultra HD Blu-ray Video, 4K Ultra HD, 4K Blu-ray) discs.

A supported list is here.

Note: Dumping UHD/BD-XL discs using UHD friendly half-height desktop drives (e.g. LG WH16NS40, ASUS BW-16D1HT), a 'sleep bug' can be encountered if the disc is idle in the drive for too long (e.g. if redumper is generating a skeleton, or if you leave it in the drive after dumping). It is safe to eject and re-insert the disc if the drive makes unusual noises while idle.
