Redump.org is a disc preservation database and it provides guides to ensure the dumps are correctly done. Users of the website who follow the guides correctly are encouraged to share their results to help build the database. Multiple dumps of games with the same serial number by different people are collected to ensure the same results are gathered, which help correct any incorrect dumps in the database as well as to help recognize alternate versions of the same game.

Goal

The goal of redump.org is to make blueprints of the data on console and computer game discs. Checksums such as CRC32, MD5, SHA-1 are made of the data so individuals will be able to match their game dumps against other redump.org's dumps to ensure the integrity of their dump. Redump.org includes dumps from rare and more common console systems. For some current generation systems, they archive data, however are currently not making it available to the public since their focus is on preserving disc information of consoles that are no longer manufactured or will cease to be manufactured within the next few years.

Disclaimer

Redump.org does NOT host or promote pirated games or any illegal activity.
