The ATIP or Absolute Time in Pregroove is the precursor to the MID and contains valuable information about the disc including the dye used in the disc, if the disc is rewritable, how much storage the disc can actually hold and of course the manufacturer. The branding doesn't always tell you who made the disc as many brands outsourced production. Just like the MID in DVDR media this can be faked and isn't always the best indicator or who truly made the disc. In many cases it only tells who made the master. More info can be found at the bottom of this page. The easiest part of info to grab that functions the same as the MID is the ATIP start time of lead in which is usually formatted as **:**:** with the * all being numbers. You may also see it as **m**s**f . these are both the same info just formatted differently. This Page will use the basic colon as a separator.
This table will contain the ATIP Start time of lead-in and who the corresponding Manufacturer is. THIS PAGE IS A WORK IN PROGRESS
