Originally under the name Playstation Plus published by EMAP, the magazine was renamed PlayNation for the last few issues before the rights were sold to Dennis Publishing in 2002. When Dennis Publishing took over they started from issue 1 and ran for at least 13 issues which contained at least a few coverdiscs under the title "PlayNation DVD".
