New Age Gaming was a South African publication, initially published by Unreal Design FX and changing publishers several times until its the end of its initial print run, where it was published by Tide Media.
It started with an initial focus on PC and PlayStation and expanded into a wider-focused gaming and technology publication.
The magazine launched in April 1998 and its first print run ran until July 2015. It subsequently transitioned to a digital-only publication until 2023, from which point onwards a few special print editions have been published every year.
It is not known at this stage for how long the magazine had coverdiscs, but an official archive of PDF versions of the magazine is available on the current website at https://www.nag.co.za/nag-magazine-archives/
