Nuon Discs Missing

Nuon was a special chip implanted in select DVD players that allowed additional functionality, such as for playing Nuon games. Four movies were also released that used Nuon technology for special features.[1] Nuon-Dome.com is a detailed reference for more info.[2]

  • Freefall 3050 A.D.
  • Merlin Racing
  • Space Invaders X.L.
  • Iron Soldier 3 (sometimes classified as a demo, later recalled due to incompatibility with some players)
  • The Next Tetris (only available with Toshiba players)
  • Crayon Shin-chan 3 (Korean-only release)

  • BlackBird Demonstration Pack (pack-in with Motorola Blackbird)
  • Interactive Sampler (Spring 2000)
  • Interactive Sampler (Spring 2000) VSDA Edition (has Zuma Digital and PDSC logos printed on the disc, and an "About PDSC" video that is viewable on the disc)
  • Interactive Sampler (Essentially the same as the Spring 2000 Interactive Sampler, but has the "Spring 2000" text removed from the disc.)
  • NUON Games + Demos (unlicensed)
  • NUON-Dome PhillyClassic5 Demo Disc (unlicensed)
  • Toshiba SD2300 Update Disc

Movies

Only four DVD releases utilized Nuon technology. All of them were released by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment:
