Nuon was a special chip implanted in select DVD players that allowed additional functionality, such as for playing Nuon games. Four movies were also released that used Nuon technology for special features.[1] Nuon-Dome.com is a detailed reference for more info.[2]

Only four DVD releases utilized Nuon technology. All of them were released by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment:
