How to dump a DVD-Video disc using standard DVD copy protection. For dumping DVD-based games (such as PS2 discs) see this guide instead: DVD Dumping Guide (Disc Image Creator).
Dumping
- Start DVD Decryptor
- Check the log window for the RCE protection type and make note of it for submission info.
- Close DVD Decryptor
- Open up IsoBuster > Track 01 > Extract User Data
- In IsoBuster, browse to sector 16 and copy the PVD data from 0320 - 0370 (full six rows) for submission info.
Retrieving Decryption Keys
- Run readdvd.exe -d D: -o NUL
- Press Q to stop reading and then copy the three keys from the command window (decrypting disc key, trying player key, decrypted disc key).
Decryption key submission template:
- Region: #,#,etc. (list all)
- RCE Protection: No or Yes
- Copyright Protection System Type: CSS/CPPM
- Encrypted Disc Key:
- Player Key:
